This study sets out to examine the influence of Service Pricing and Marketing Performance in Novotel Hotel, Port Harcourt. Six Hypotheses were formulated, all in Null form. These Hypotheses were tested at 5% level of significance. The Quasi-Experimental Research Design was adopted. Questionnaire was distributed to the respondents. The returned copies of the Questionnaire were analyzed statistically using Simple Percentage, and Frequency Tables. The data analysis technique used was Spearman’s Rank Correlation Co-efficient. The six Hypotheses were all tested using the SPSS, (Statistical Package for Social Sciences). The findings revealed that there is a relationship between Service pricing and the measures of Marketing Performance. Based on the findings, the researchers recommended that whenever Hotels launch New Service, they should adopt Price skimming which involves charging a relatively high price for a short time. ABSTRACT
The study examined the causal relationship between money supply growth and inflation in Nigeria using time series data for the period of thirty-three (32) years. In analyzing the data both ordinary least square (OLS) regression method and granger causality test were employed. Variables for this study are (inflation, money supply growth MS1& MS2, interest rate, exchange rate and fiscal deficit). The OLS result indicates narrow money supply growth MS1, interest rate and fiscal deficit are positively related to inflation. While broad money supply MS2 and exchange were negatively related to inflation. However granger causality result revealed that there is a unidirectional causality running from money supply growth to inflation in Nigeria which is in tandem with classical quantity theory assertion. Finally, the study recommends a long term stabilization of monetary policy instrument especially the open market operation (OMO) and the need for government to reduce its deficit financing.

ABSTRACT
Advertising is any paid non-personal presentation of products, services, ideas, persons and places through media by identified sponsors. Its role in bringing product or service information to target markets is well known and undisputed. What is not certain here however is its ability to communicate product/service information truthfully so that consumers can make informed choices of what they really want through what is being advertised. This paper sought to find out consumers’ opinions as to whether Nigerian advertising is deceptive or not. It also asks consumers the course of action that they would take should they be dissatisfied with consuming advertised products. The paper found that Nigerian advertising is deceptive. It recommended among others that marketers and their advertising agencies should sit together to take a harder look at their advertising messages to reflect what their product/service offer in truth. Regulating agencies were called upon to intensify their control/oversight function to check sub-standard and deceptive advertising.

ABSTRACT
A crucial moment for the global development agenda was marked by the adoption of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by the United Nation (UN) in 2015. The construction industry is a very important part of the built environment and could be termed as a knowledge-based industry, however, In Nigeria only very few organizations systematically identity and transfer valuable knowledge from one project to another project as well as from project to the organizational information base, this is important if the SDGs are to be achieved. Hence, this paper aims to assess the application of Knowledge Management for achieving Sustainable Development Goals in the Nigerian Construction Industry. This will be achieved by investigating the level of awareness of the SDGs (by the construction practitioners), level of awareness of Knowledge management in the Nigerian Construction industry, identifying the application of Knowledge Management in the Nigerian Construction Industry and by evaluating the barriers/hindrances to the application of Knowledge management in the Nigerian Construction Industry. The research found that the level of involvement in sustainable development is low and it shows that professionals in Nigeria Construction industry are not fully involved in the design or construction or sustainable projects. Also, there is an increase in the level of awareness of Knowledge management. Lastly the study recommends that The Professional bodies in the Nigerian Construction Industry should assist in sensitizing their members in the adoption and application of this principle with a view to increase value to clients and achieving sustainable development goals.

ABSTRACT
This paper on forestry systems in Nigeria reviews the importance of forest products for national economic development; it underscores the need for sustainable development of the forests. For GDP maximization, emphasis has to be placed on value addition of forest based natural resources as against selling them out as mere raw materials. Ecosystem products should be valued and priced above technological products of mass production. There is need for the Nigerian government to fully take advantage of the global carbon market, and profit from the large quantity of carbon sequestrated in the nation’s tropical forests, there is need for a critical look into the menace of poverty especially among rural dwellers as this is a major hindrance to effective implementation of forest management policies. Also the need for participatory forestry in projects like forest reservation, protection and management is advocated, observing that social participatory forestry and traditional authority based managements have always fared better than exclusively government projects. Finally, there is the need to exhaustively explore and align with global forestry initiatives like FAO-EU’s Forest Law Enforcement Governance and Trade (FLEGT) programmes, and Voluntary Partnership Agreement (VPA) of the EU, which regulates trade and protect the interest of timber producing country like Nigeria in dealing with major buyers like the US, Japan and China.

ABSTRACT
The importance of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) cannot be overemphasized; it is a vital source of financing development. It augments on efficiency raises skills of local manpower, facilitates transfer of technology, generates employment and stimulates productivity resulting in broad welfare improvements. Grantingthat Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) could have a substantial influence on the growth of an economy, poverty reduction and the achievement of various dimensions of human development as enunciated in the Millennium Development Goals. The paper adopted the econometrics technique and subjected the data to stationary test. The result of the test shows that the variables are stationary at first difference, this informed the use of the Johansson cointegration technique and the variables were integrated of order one 1(1). The result of the parsimonious error correction shows that an inverse relationship exists between Foreign Direct Investment and Exchange Rate Volatility (ERV), while direct relationship exists between FDI and export and import. The study therefore, concludes that Exchange Rate Volatility affects the inflow of Foreign Direct Investment negatively. Thus, the paper recommends that government should control the fluctuation in exchange rate by adopting fixed exchange rate regime
